So I REALLY and I mean REALLY screwed up!! Who knew that it was going to be 95 degrees in October??? Anyway, when I got the costumes I never thought that it would be this hot and so sadly we did not have a very good halloween. On Monday we went to Shawn and Chelsea's church for a trunk-or-treat which was alot of fun however our kids were AWFUL. I blame it on how hot they were and it was past their bed time. Jeremy told me on the way home that he was never taking our children out of the house again, and yes it was that bad. I felt bad for Shawn and Chelsea...but on a happier note Chelsea made chilli for trunk-or-treat and it was sooo good. Here are some pictures that we were able to get in between the screaming and crying.Hope everyone elses halloween was better then ours.

Awwwwww...:) You wouldn't know to look at those pictures that they were anything but perfect. Parents need a rest now...look forward to next year, it'll be better. All three costumes are just precious.
Those costumes do look warm for Las Vegas heat. If it makes you feel better, they would have been perfect for Utah weather:) Even if they were a little warm, they were still totally adorable. I love their little faces peeking out of the costume! And just think, I'm sure there will be less crying for Halloween next year:)
Yes, they were warm in their costumes but they were not that bad Sarah! I think they had a little fun anyway. At least they weren't hiding in the back of your car, shrieking at each and every trick-or-treater that came by...or was that after you guys left? Cora was having an aboslute HEART ATTACK! She was so scared of everything once it started to get dark. She didn't even want any candy! Lots of fun! Next year will be better :)
My precious little grand babies are never as bad as their Mommy and Daddy claim they are. I am sure they just missed Gramma :) They look precious and usually it is Freezing on Holloween, even in Vegas so the plan was not flawed, the weather was.

You can't tell they were unhappy at all, they look absolutely darling. Las Vegas in October is always a crap shoot...the word for next year is "layers". But hey, they look cute in the pictures, so it was all worth it.
